Your Admission to ELPIS
ELPIS’s Assessment Criteria has been developed to better understand a client’s drug, alcohol, health and welfare needs and determine whether the services provided meet their specific requirements.

One of our team members will talk through the information that we require to determine if ELPIS is the best option for you.
- A face-to-face assessment is scheduled with the client.
- Upon assessment clients may need to engage in a medically supervised detoxification prior to admission into the program.
- If the client is deemed suitable a date for admission is then arranged for the client.
- Clients are required to provide a supervised urine sample within on arrival for their admission and provide a supervised breath test upon arrival.
- Random Urine tests and random breath tests may be taken at any time during the program.
- For identification purposes, a photograph of the client will be taken on admission.
- Clients must have no pending court cases within 30 days of the date of admission.
- Clients must be clean from all substances.
- Clients must have a minimum three-month separation from the date of release from any imprisonment.
- ELPIS has a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and drug taking and there will be no taking drugs or alcohol and no gambling while at ELPIS.
- All group sessions, assignments and activities are mandatory and clients are expected to be on time.
Clients will need to organise their Centrelink benefits prior to admission or be able to meet the required weekly payments.
Applicants who provide information which may later be found to be false or misleading, may be subject to discharge at any time after admission.
General Practitioners, Clinicians & Service Providers
General practitioners, clinicians and service providers wishing to refer clients to ELPIS, need to complete and submit the online Clinician Referral Form*.
* Clients must be aware of the referral and give consent by signing the referral form prior to it being emailed to ELPIS.
Residential Rehabilitation Costs
The ELPIS residential rehabilitation program is affordable if you are on a Centrelink benefit and have a current Medicare card. If this is not the case, please call us to discuss costings on (02) 9816 1859.
