Our Services
ELPIS Services are Confidential and
Non-Judgmental
ELPIS’s residential post-withdrawal program is a home to everyone and anyone wishing to address their dependence on alcohol and/or other drugs. The program aims to empower individuals and give them the self-confidence to manage the harms related to their substance use.
Our residential programs utilise the therapeutic community model of treatment. This model gives responsibility to the residential community to promote positive personal growth and allows residents to actively participate in a shared and caring environment to not only help themselves, but also to provide support for their fellow residents.
The therapeutic community model involves residents living and working together as a small community. Rehabilitation is carried out in a structured environment, with treatment support provided by professional counsellors and health staff. The program allows residents to achieve therapeutic goals and progressing to daily job functions such as cleaning, cooking, gardening, errands, shopping and office duties.
The Residential short stay program
The Residential short stay program of up to 12 weeks is designed to meet the needs of those who require residential treatment and can have their treatment needs best met in an intensive short program. It will provide an opportunity for those addicted to live together and take responsibility for themselves and each other as a community.
A full assessment of a person’s health and service needs will be initially undertaken to determine how best to provide AOD and post-withdrawal management treatment.
